Mendaera, Inc., a Silicon Valley-based healthcare technology company, has raised $73 million in Series B funding. Led by Threshold Ventures, with participation from Lux Capital, PFM Health Sciences, and Fred Moll, the funding will help scale Mendaera’s robotics and AI solutions for widespread medical procedures. The company’s handheld robotic platform, incorporating real-time imaging and AI, aims to address healthcare provider shortages and improve efficiency in routine needle-based procedures like biopsies.
