Mercku was founded in Canada's Waterloo technology hub in 2017 with the aim to create a networking suite connecting people and information. Mercku engages in the design, engineering, testing, and deployment of its products. The company also provides continuous support for the customer-premise equipment (CPE) it offers.
Mercku's platform allows its users to manage customer networks through the remote Network Operations Centre (NOC), customizable mobile app, and built-in web portal.
The CPE provided by Mercku can be rented, leased, or purchased at monthly rates with a small or no upfront cost and comes with continuous firmware support through updates. The company also lets its customers change their CPE supplier and end the contract without incurring penalties or idle inventory.
Mercku's network solution aims to provide stable performance on the 2.4GHz and 5 GHz bands for all devices connected to the network through an antenna based on a wide-bandwidth, high-efficiency electromagnetic radiation structure (WHEMS). Large network capacity is ensured through multi-user (MU) and multiple-input and multiple-output (MIMO) capabilities. Users have the option of controlling and managing their network remotely by using Mercku's mobile app, available on the App and Play stores.
The platform has analytics capabilities that allow users to see usage and trends in the surrounding geographical network area, as well as pinpoint issues with individual system deployment via a complete CPE status report. Furthermore, the NOC allows internet service providers to examine the health of individual users' mesh networks, for deployment and maintenance purposes.
Mercku sells a variety of wireless products to consumers, including network routers, wireless speakers, and wireless intelligent sensing (WISe) devices, such as high-gain antennas, predictive pathway lighting systems, and more.
