Mesodyne has developed a new class of power generator that fits in the palm of your hand - the Light-cell power generator. Its ultra-high energy density increases the endurance of drones 10X over batteries alone. Mesodyne’s generator converts any fuel to electricity with no moving parts, achieving energy densities of 1000-2000 Wh/kg. In this Phase I, Mesodyne will explore the feasibility of a scaled-up version of our current 150W generator that adds up to 1+kW to enable hybrid VTOL express logistics platforms such as a fully integrated option for future eVTOL ORB Fleet, which is a technical area of interest for Agility Prime. Simply put, Mesodyne’s technology enables reliable long endurance hybrid electric drones.
