Michał Rola-Żymierski was born in Kraków, Poland, on September 4, 1890. He completed his education at Bartłomiej Nowodworski High School and further pursued studies at École spéciale militaire de Saint-Cyr. He was an officer in the armed forces and later became a politician . Michał held Polish citizenship.
Throughout his life and career, Michał Rola-Żymierski received numerous awards and honors, including the Order of Lenin, Order of Victory, Order of Friendship of Peoples, Order of the People's Hero, and the Order of the Builders of People's Poland. He also received various medals such as the War Medal 1939–1945, Medal of the 30th Anniversary of People's Poland, Medal of Victory and Freedom 1945, and other medals commemorating important events and achievements .
Michał Rola-Żymierski passed away in Warsaw on October 15, 1989.
