Middle East Technical University (METU), also known as Orta Dogu Teknik Üniversitesi, is a public educational institute in Turkey. Established in 1956, METU is located in Çankaya, Ankara, the capital city of Turkey. The university specializes in higher education and operates in the education and university sectors.
