Middle Tennessee State University (MTSU) is a public educational institute located in Murfreesboro, Tennessee, United States. Established in 1911, MTSU belongs to the higher education and university industries.
MTSU is accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges and has additional accreditation from the Engineering Technology Accreditation Commission (ETAC) of ABET, Engineering Accreditation Commission (EAC) of ABET, Computing Accreditation Commission (CAC) of ABET, Accrediting Council on Education in Journalism and Mass Communications, and the American Alliance for Health, Physical Education, Recreation and Dance.
