He is known for the fact that he is the most popular and readable Bashkir poet, it was he who made a huge contribution to the development of not only poetry, but also the literature of the Bashkir, Tatar and Kazakh peoples in general. It is no coincidence that Akmulla, who lived and worked in the nineteenth century, is called not only a poet, but also a thinker and enlightener.
He was educated in his native village; studied versification from a local poet, who was quite famous at that time. He changed several professions, in addition to writing poetry, he traveled, because he could not live in one place for a long time. He carried with him a cart filled to the brim with books, manuscripts and various tools. He was imprisoned for four years, and his life ended tragically - the Bashkir poet was killed while moving from one settlement to another. Today in memory of him there is a literary prize named after him and his museum; streets in Almetyevsk and the Pedagogical University of Bashkortostan bear his name.
