Mike Leach (American football coach)

Mike Leach is an American football coach born on September 3, 1961, in Susanville, California. He is currently employed as the head coach at Mississippi State, located in Starkville, Mississippi.

Leach studied at Brigham Young University, United States Sports Academy, and Pepperdine University School of Law. He also attended the College of the Desert. He has received numerous awards throughout his coaching career, including the 2018 AFCA Coach of the Year and the George Munger Award. In addition, he has been recognized for his achievements, such as being the first head coach to win against a Top 10 team in his coaching debut, and breaking the SEC and school records for passing yards in a single game.
