Mikhail Bakunin (1814-1876) was a philosopher, writer, and politician from the Russian Empire. Born in Pryamuchino on May 18, 1814, Bakunin received his education at Humboldt University of Berlin. He later went on to write notable works such as "Statism and Anarchy" and "God and the State". In addition to his writing, Bakunin was the father of Maria Bakunin. He passed away in Bern on June 19, 1876.
