Milan

Milan, also known as Milano or Milano, Lombardia, is a location in Italy. It is situated in the Lombardy region. Throughout history, Milan has been a part of various countries, including the Kingdom of Italy, Austrian Empire, Kingdom of Sardinia, Kingdom of Italy (Napoleonic), Italian Republic (Napoleonic), Cisalpine Republic, Transpadane Republic, and the Duchy of Milan.

The city is the founder of Azienda Trasporti Milanesi (ATM), a public transportation company which is also a subsidiary of Milan. Additionally, La Scala, a world-renowned opera house, is another subsidiary of Milan. The currency used in Milan is the Euro.
