Mimica (Automation)

Mimica is a London-based enterprise software company with a product that businesses can use to automate repetitive tasks by employees done on computers.

The company's first software product is called "Mimica Mapper" and it uses machine learning algorithms to collect data on clicks and keystrokes when integrated into work computers. This data can show which tasks are repetitive and can be automated so that the employee working on those tasks can spend his/her time on other assignments. Mimica Mapper records the data for two to three weeks and then produces a process map and an interactive procedure design document, which can be utilized for processes such as robotic process automation, time-and-motion studies, and business process management.

The map shows a flowchart of all click and keystroke variations, exceptions, and the volume at which they are produced. It also shows metrics using metadata that show the complexity of the task. Screenshots are also taken while collecting the data and then recalled to show a visual with the map.
