Moovly is a cloud-based program that helps users to create professional videos and share them online: animations, presentations, infographics, explainer videos.
The product also offers PowerPoint import, automatic subtitle creation, text conversion into different languages and integration with different media apps including Google Drive, Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, Vimeo, Mailchimp, Box, Instagram, Dropbox, Bynder, OneDrive and Wordpress. The product offers shared media libraries and team collaboration tools making it popular with universities, students and employees with 300+ users at Fortune 500 firms.
Moovly was founded in Belgium in November 2012 by Brendon Grunewald and Geert Coppens. The company initially secured several rounds of external investment to fund its growth, and in July 2016, listed on the Toronto Venture Stock Exchange as Moovly Media Inc under the symbol MVY (TSX.V: MVY).
Using a combination of uploaded images, videos and sounds, as well as a pre-defined library of objects, users are able to assemble new animated content. The final videos or presentations can be downloaded as an MP4 for example, or published on a variety of video platforms.
