Mori Arinori (もり ありのり), born on August 23, 1847 in Kagoshima Prefecture, Japan, was a notable Japanese diplomat and politician. He was educated at University College London (UCL) and held Japanese citizenship. Mori Arinori played a significant role in education in Japan, founding Hitotsubashi University. After a successful career, he passed away on February 12, 1889, in Tokyo Prefecture.
