Mount Holyoke College is a private educational institute located in South Hadley, Massachusetts, United States. It was founded by Mary Lyon in 1888. The college is accredited by the New England Commission of Higher Education.
Mount Holyoke is a part of several affiliations, including the National Collegiate Athletic Association, the Five College Consortium, the Council of Independent Colleges, and the National Athletic Association. Its motto is "That our daughters may be as corner stones, polished after the similitude of a palace. Psalms 144:12".
