Myprotein is an English online retailer and sports nutrition manufacturer based in Northwich, Cheshire. The range includes more than 1,500 sports nutrition products, including snacks, clothing and accessories. Most of the products sold by Myprotein are manufactured by the company itself, and they are also shipped from their warehouse in Warrington, Cheshire.
- History
Myprotein was founded in the UK in 2004 and was acquired by The Hut Group in June 2011. In 2010, 5 more company websites were launched in Germany, France, Ireland, Italy and Spain, and by 2015 MyProtein already had more than 15 international sites and shipped goods to more than 50 destinations around the world, including Russia.
- Production
Myprotein has invested more than £ 6 million in its production facilities and supply chain infrastructure in both Warrington and the United States.
In December 2015, Myprotein announced its agreement with the Kentucky Economic Development Authority to plan the construction of their first non-UK production site in Bullitt County, Kentucky. As part of this agreement, Myprotein (registered as Cend Limited) plans to create up to 350 jobs in the region and receive tax breaks of up to $ 2.6 million

Myprotein has a line of informed sports, which means that food supplements and related ingredients have been tested for any banned substances by the anti-doping laboratory LGC Sport Science.

Since its founding, Myprotein has earned several awards. In 2007, they were named the Startup Company of the Year at the prestigious Growing Business Awards, established by Real Business in collaboration with Lloyds Bank and supported by the CBI. In addition, in 2009 the Hut Group became the 21st in the top Sunday Times Fast Track 100, which includes the 100 fastest British private companies, and in 2014 and 2015 they became the first on this list.In addition, in 2009 Myprotein won the local annual award for small and medium-sized enterprises in the north-west of England at the National Business Awards.
In 2007, Myprotein was certified ISO 9001. The company also has GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice) and HACCP (Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points) (HACCP) accreditation.
