Thanks to the Subaru telescope, which is installed in an observatory in the Hawaiian Islands, a new planet of a beautiful purple color has been discovered.
The planet is located at a distance of about 57 light years from Earth. The planet was named GJ 504b . It is surprising in that its existence can partially cast doubt on all modern theories of the origin of planets .
The planet GJ 504b is similar in size to Jupiter. But at the same time, it is already 4 times its mass!
The only thing scientists are sure of is that the discovered planet is one of the most ancient exoplanets .
Its age is approximately from 100 to 500 million years.
