NFT Wars

NFT Wars was a blockchain game and collectibles system utilizing ETH and Polygon in its gameplay. Users were able to collect cards and wager them into battle. The decentralized application utilized non-fungible tokens (NFTs) as players’ avatars in the game.

Tokenized rewards for owners of NFTs were to be expected in the game and were to be used for staking, purchasing in-game items and assets, minting NFTs, and other customization options. NFT Wars was also researching a burn mechanism that was supposed to burn the majority of the tokens spent before funneling them back into the total supply.

Users played a rock-paper-scissors-style game with their card as their avatar, using WAR credits received by staking WAR tokens. Rather than rock-paper-scissors, the moves were named bunker, infantry, and artillery. Users possessed the ability to bet on the outcome of the game, and when they staked tokens, they received a card each week.
