The proposal offers solution to the problem of covert communication. The suggested solution is based embedding data in Additive White Gaussian Noise (AWGN) with Signal to Noise Ratio (SNR) to be in range from -5 to -20 dB. To embed the data and extract it without loss a method of Singular Spectrum Analysis. Nokomis solution meets the goals formulated in the solicitation: it is Noise Masked; it is also RF band Independent – it is RF band independent and does not require changes its signal processing part. Thus, Nokomis solution comprise hardware (data plus noise transmitter) and software (data embedding and removing the noise mask) parts. The Software part is based on the Nokomis proprietary algorithm developed based on Singular Spectrum Analysis, which was modified and improved to satisfy the special requirements to efficient processing of the transmitted and received RF signals. The solution, which Nokomis offers has a universal commercial value as it allows to overcome nowadays ubiquitous problem of interfering RF signals of densely populated frequency bands. It also has a potential to increase multiple times a signal informational density. Nokomis has extensive experience and a profound expertise in the field of extremely weak RF signals masked by noise, it encompasses both hardware (RF sensor “Hiawatha” with sensibility near theoretical floor of -170 dB) and proprietary algorithms-based software (SAS - Signal Analysis System, a software suite for RF features extraction and analysis). Nokomis is confident that solution it offers is not only applicable to the goals of the solicitation but can be significantly expanded in the future efforts to become a new standard approach to overcome a problem of white noise and “intelligent” signal separation.
