$NORTH is the main token of North Pole, a lending platform on the Avalanche chain. North Pole allows users to borrow/leverage their interest bearing assets in exchange for the stablecoin $POLE which can be swapped for USDT.e, USDC.e, or DAI.e on avax.curve.fi.
The $POLE token is a USD pegged stable coin that is backed by staked assets. $POLE tokens are minted by the multisig holders on Avalanche, and only after being collateralized are they injected into the circulation.
