Nancy Brinker is a diplomat and politician from the United States. She was born on December 6, 1946, in Peoria, Illinois. Brinker received her education at the University of Illinois at Urbana–Champaign.
She is best known as the founder of the non-profit organization Susan G. Komen for the Cure. In recognition of her efforts, she was awarded the Presidential Medal of Freedom in 2009.
