Nanostart is an investment company in Germany that focuses on nanotechnology companies. Founded 2003 in Frankfurt, Hessen, Germany, it invests in venture rounds, series A, series C, series B, and series D rounds. Its portfolio companies include Microlight Sensors, Membrane Instruments and Technology, NanoGram, BioMicro Systems, and Nanosys. As of May 2020, Nanostart has made six investments. Nanostart has had one exit, which was NanoGram, a company that develops and manufactures photovoltaic electronics and displays. Nanostart AG provides financial services to issuers, investment firms, and stock exchanges.
