Nanyang Technological University

Nanyang Technological University (NTU) is a public educational institute located in Singapore. Founded in 1955 by Tan Lark Sye, NTU offers education and research in various industries such as computer science, electronic design automation, higher education, and university level education. It is also known as 南洋理工大学. The university's motto is: "A great global university founded on science and technology, nurturing leaders and creating societal impact through interdisciplinary education and research."

NTU is affiliated with several international organizations, including the Association of Commonwealth Universities, Association of Southeast Asian Institutions of Higher Learning, and the ASEAN University Network. The university holds accreditations from various institutions, such as the Institution of Engineering and Technology, European Foundation for Management Development, Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business, Ministry of Education - Higher Education Division of Singapore, and the Engineering Accreditation Board.

As of now, NTU has a total of 333 patents assigned. The university operates a subsidiary, Nanyang Technological University Libraries.
