National Technical University of Athens

The National Technical University of Athens (NTUA) is a public educational institute located in Athens, Greece. It was founded on December 31, 1836 and is named after the town of Metsovo. NTUA operates in the fields of electronic design automation, education, higher education, and university sectors.

The university's headquarters are situated in Zografou, a suburb of Athens, and it is accredited by the Ministry of Education, Research and Religious Affairs of Greece. It is affiliated with the Conference of European Schools for Advanced Engineering Education and Research and the European University Association. The university is also known by its Greek alias, Εθνικό Μετσόβιο Πολυτεχνείο.
