National Tsing Hua University

National Tsing Hua University (NTHU) , also known as 國立清華大學, is a public educational institute located in Hsinchu, Taiwan. It was founded in 1911 and is part of the University System of Taiwan. The university is affiliated with the Open Education Consortium.

NTHU operates in various industries, including electrical engineering, school, electronic design automation, education, higher education, and university. The university is accredited by the Higher Education Evaluation and Accreditation Council of Taiwan and the Ministry of Education of Taiwan.

The motto of National Tsing Hua University is "自強不息 厚德載物", which translates to "Constantly strengthen and cultivate ourselves". As of 2021, NTHU holds 882 patents.
