Neblio is an open source blockchain solution built for businesses. This decentralized platform is designed for a wide list of applications that include:

  • A distributed API network
  • Replacement for legacy database architecture
  • Enterprise records management
  • The Internet-of-things
  • Secure identify management
  • Enabling next generation distributed applications

Neblio makes use of the Neblio Cryptographic Token (NEBL) as its digital currency.

What is Neblio?

Neblio is an open-source, decentralized, and secure blockchain platform built for enterprise-level applications and services. Neblio is a proof-of-stake (PoS) blockchain secured through staking the NEBL coin.

Neblio’s vision is focused on simplicity. They offer easy integration of new and existing legacy applications into the Neblio blockchain through REST APIs in eight different languages. The Neblio blockchain supports tokenized assets through Neblio Token Protocol-1 (NTP1). Neblio’s large block size allows for individualized token metadata, high data flexibility and high transaction throughput.

Powered by Tachyon, the latest in Neblio blockchain scalability improvements, Neblio offers enterprise solutions and technical discriminators over other blockchain platforms to provide secure and innovative solutions for industry customers.

Staking NEBL

As the Neblio blockchain is secured via proof-of-stake, NEBL is integral to the consensus mechanism. No minimum amount of NEBL is required to stake and active stakers will receive 10% per year where individual coin rewards are based on the age of staked tokens. Neblio PoS does not offer masternodes, nor are there future plans to.

Neblio developed QuickSync, an innovative feature to significantly improve node sync times. QuickSync leverages Docker containers to install, sync, and validate the Neblio blockchain within minutes. The modular nature of QuickSync allows for rapid large-scale parallel installations across many nodes, such as for data centers.

Neblio Wallets

Neblio has multiple wallets, both staking and non-staking.

Staking wallets include:

Windows

Mac Wallet

Linux

Raspberry Pi

Non-Staking wallets include:

Orion Web wallet

Electrum Wallet

Android Wallet

Docker

All NEBL addresses support receiving NTP1 tokens, although the ability to send tokens is only possible through the staking wallets and the Orion Web wallet. The Neblio Discord offers an official staking pool through the tipbot application.

NTP1

NTP1 tokens are the center of the growing Neblio ecosystem. Created easily, in as many as two clicks, they offer the same security and flexibility as the main Neblio chain while supporting individualized projects. The tokens support non-fungibility and the ability for digital tokenization of assets. NTP1 tokens can directly support distributed applications (DApps) built into the Neblio blockchain. A third-party decentralized DEX, Neblidex, supports peer-to-peer exchange of NTP1 tokens.

NTP1 tokens natively support metadata encryption so that sensitive data may be written to the blockchain using RSA cryptography. This built-in encryption enables privacy-centric industries to implement NEBL tokens without additional security measures to secure their data stored on the blockchain. Additionally, NTP1 tokens support limited smart contract creation which can restrict or direct token movement, including lockup and expiration rules, as well as whitelisting and blacklisting of Neblio addresses.

NTP1 token metadata can be observed in the raw transaction data or supported through the Neblio block explorer, which is the easiest method to explore the possibilities offered by Neblio and NTP1 metadata.

Neblio University

Neblio University serves as the technical hub for users and developers. The site offers in-depth technical documentation for the blockchain and API libraries, troubleshooting guides, and details on how to get started with Neblio technologies.
