New York Life Ventures is a New York based venture capital firm investing in financial technology companies. It is an investment arm of New York Life Insurance Company, one of the largest life insurance companies in the United States. Joel Albarella founded the company in 2012 which has its headquarter in Madison Avenue, New York. It seeks to invest in companies involved in enterprise software, financial services, entertainment, and insurance which align with the business interest of its parent company. As of December 2019, it has made 22 investments with three successful exits.
