Nikolai Brashman (June 25, 1796 — May 25, 1866) was a mathematician who was born in Rousínov and held citizenship in the Austrian Empire as well as the Russian Empire. He studied at Moscow State University under the guidance of doctoral advisor Nikolai Lobachevsky and later founded the Moscow Mathematical Society. Brashman passed away in Moscow on May 25, 1866.
