Nikolay Mitrofanovich Krylov (born November 29, 1879 in Saint Petersburg, Russia) was a Russian mathematician and physicist. He held Russian citizenship and received his education at the University of Paris, the University of Pisa, and Saint Petersburg Mining University.
Krylov is known for his work on Krylov subspace, Krylov–Bogolyubov theorem, Krylov–Bogoliubov averaging method, and the Newton–Krylov method. He was a student of Iván Petrovich and supervised the doctoral studies of Nikolay Bogolyubov.
