Noah Baumbach is an American film director, screenwriter, and producer born in Brooklyn on September 3, 1969. Holding United States citizenship, he was educated at Midwood High School and later attended Vassar College.
Baumbach's directorial debut was in 1995 with the film "Kicking and Screaming". Throughout his career, he has directed various films, including "Mr. Jealousy", "The Squid and the Whale", "Margot at the Wedding", "Frances Ha", and "Marriage Story" among others.
