Norgesbuss is a leading player in Norwegian public transport.
In 1995, Norgesbuss AS was established, and the company grew rapidly through mergers and acquisitions. The mainstays were two well-established bus companies in the Oslo area, Oslo and Follo Busstrafikk (OFB) and Bærums Forenede Bilruter (BFB). Torghatten ASA gradually acquired the company, and from 2008 became a 100% owner.
Norgesbuss was started as a purchasing collaboration between several bus companies in 1993, aimed at the emerging tender market.
The bus industry is undergoing major structural changes, where players must adapt to the framework conditions that apply in a highly competitive market. Norgesbuss is far ahead in its adaptation and has the long-term goal of becoming a winner in this market.

The main activity is scheduled and school driving in Oslo, Akershus, Rogaland, Buskerud and Sogn og Fjordane. Norgesbuss owns and operates 4 airport bus routes to and from Oslo Airport.
The group has over 700 buses and has around 1600 employees, and has an annual turnover of approx. NOK 1,700 million.
