Omnity is a software company offering a knowledge management and discovery platform focused on knowledge discovery that is headquartered in San Francisco, California and was founded in 2015 by Brian Sager and Darby Magill. The company uses natural language processing (NLP), machine learning, graph math, and linguistic blockchain technologies to find shared meaning between documents by identifying patterns. Omnity's knowledge management and discovery platform is made to serve clients operating in finance, law, research, and advocacy/policy.
Omnity uses a drag and drop method for users uploading information to the Omnity platform, and users can also download the Omnity Chrome Web Clipper to help them search the web using clipped text as their query when browsing websites. The Omnity platform will accept most files types and supports more than 100 languages.
On July 1, 2015 Omnity announced raising an undisclosed amount of venture funding from Lowercase Capital and Group 11.
On June 29, 2017 Omnity announced receiving a convertible note worth and undisclosed amount of money from Richard Jahnke.
