Oreo is a food product from parent company Mondelēz International. It is a sandwich cookie that is commonly eaten as a snack or for dessert. The cookie was originally produced by Nabisco in New York City in 1912. It has undergone several name changes over the years, including Oreo Biscuit, Oreo Sandwich, Oreo Creme Sandwich, and its official name, which is Oreo Chocolate Sandwich Cookie. It is known globally as just an "Oreo" and is sold in more than one hundred countries.

The Oreo brand has made several partnerships, including Xbox and the National Basketball Association (NBA).
In 2020, Oreo began a partnership with PFLAG National, an advocacy organization that focuses on the 2SLGBTQ+ community. Each year, Oreo makes a promotional video integrating the product into a fictional 2SLGBTQ+ narrative that shows support for the community.
Furthermore, a special edition Oreo is made and released around Pride Month in June. The packaging is often designed to show further support of the community, and in 2022, the limited-edition Oreo cookies had "PROUD" stamped into them.
Oreo has a partnership with the NBA and has created cookies for many of the teams in the organization. Some examples include the Atlanta Hawks, Boston Celtics, Brooklyn Nets, Chicago Bulls, and Philadelphia 76ers. The cookies have the logos of each team and come in boxes containing twelve cookies.
