Osaka University (おおさかだいがく or 大阪大学) is a public educational institute located in Suita, Osaka, Japan. It was established in 1931 and is accredited by the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology of Japan and the Japan University Accreditation Association. The university is affiliated with the Association of Pacific Rim Universities and the Open Education Consortium. Its motto is "Live Locally, Grow Globally".
