Osmania University

Osmania University, a public educational institute is located in Hyderabad, India. Established in 1918, the University operates under the parent organization Osmania Medical College and focuses on the education industry, specifically higher education and the provision of university courses.

Also known as ఉస్మానియా విశ్వవిద్యాలయము, Osmania University is affiliated with the Association of Commonwealth Universities, Association of Indian Universities, National Assessment and Accreditation Council, and Distance Education Bureau. The motto of the institution is "Lead us from Darkness to Light".

Osmania University is accredited by several organizations such as the National Assessment and Accreditation Council, Bar Council of India, Pharmacy Council of India, and University Grants Commission of India. Additionally, the university has a subsidiary organization called Osmania University Common Entrance Test.
