PME Investimentos is an investment and venture capital firm with offices in Lisbon and Porto. They belong to the state of Portugal and are subject to supervision of the Bank of Portugal with the mission to promote the development of small and medium enterprises, which do not usually garner investment interest.
To achieve their goal, PME Investimentos provides financing based on appropriate models built from international, equivalent examples. They play the role of an active investor and pursue a policy of innovation, competitiveness and internationalization. They promote new funding through traditional venture capital, refinancing and risk sharing. And they work to partner with portfolio companies to negotiate and monitor their objectives and commitments.
