Pam Grier

Pam Grier , born Pamela Suzette Grier , is an American actor and aikidoka . She was born on May 26, 1949, in Winston-Salem, North Carolina , and is a citizen of the United States . Grier attended East High School in Denver and later studied at the Metropolitan State University of Denver .

Throughout her acting career, Grier has been involved in various notable works, including Jackie Brown , Foxy Brown , Sheba, Baby , Friday Foster , Coffy , and the television series The L Word . Apart from her acting achievements, Grier has been recognized with numerous awards, such as the Black Reel Awards, 20/20 Awards, and Awards Circuit Community Awards .
