Paul Drude

Paul Drude (born July 12, 1863, in Braunschweig, Germany) was a German physicist. He held citizenship in Germany. Drude studied at the University of Göttingen and went on to contribute significantly to the field of optical physics. One of his doctoral students was James Franck, a notable physicist.

Drude died on July 5, 1906, in Berlin. As an accomplished individual in his field, Paul Drude is remembered for his contributions and the knowledge he passed on to his students.
