Penny Marshall was born on October 15, 1943, in The Bronx. She held citizenship in the United States and attended the University of New Mexico. Marshall was known for her work in the fields of acting, film directing, and film producing.
She notably directed the films "Riding in Cars with Boys" and the 1988 movie "Big". Marshall also served as a member of the board of directors for the films "The Preacher's Wife" and "Awakenings". In her personal life, Penny Marshall was the mother of Tracy Reiner.
