Peter is a principal and Co-Chairman of the board of directors of Fortress. He has served as a member of the board of directors of Fortress since November 2006 and was elected Co-Chairman in August 2009. He has been a member of the Management Committee of Fortress since March 2002 and is responsible for the Credit and Real Estate business at Fortress. Prior to joining Fortress in March 2002, Briger spent fifteen years at Goldman, Sachs & Co., where he became a partner in 1996.
