Philip Stanhope, 5th Earl Stanhope

Philip Stanhope, 5th Earl Stanhope (1805-1875) was a British historian and politician. He was born on January 30, 1805, in Walmer, United Kingdom , and held citizenship in the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Ireland.

Stanhope received his education at Christ Church, Oxford. Throughout his life, he held various political positions and pursued historical research. He was the father of Edward Stanhope. Philip Stanhope passed away on December 24, 1875, in London.
