Philip VI of France, born in 1293, was a French monarch. He held citizenship in France and was born in Fontainebleau. Philip VI was the son of Charles, Count of Valois, and Margaret, Countess of Anjou. He had several children, including John II of France, Philip, Duke of Orléans, and Joan of France (1351–1371).
Philip VI's siblings included Joan of Valois, Countess of Hainaut, and Margaret, Countess of Anjou. He passed away on August 22, 1350 in Reims.
