Playcent is a Decentralised WIX for dapps, games, NFTs and social tokens. A multichain protocol capitalizing on remix culture, gives you the freedom to develop, create, manage and monetize your web presence. Playcent has built a collection of templates. These are mostly simple and fun games- like flappy bird and match-3. Beyond games, Playcent has also built mini-apps, wherein users can remix and create interactive messages, memes, quizzes, and more.
Playcent (PCNT) is a blockchain-based user-generated content platform for interactive applications and games. It is a remix tool that anyone can use to create interactive games, mini-apps and memes based on various templates created by independent developers.
TikTok has popularized the culture of "remixes" (users remix existing video and audio clips) and has grown to billions of users, but Playcent wants to go even further by remixing mini-apps, games and memes.
Playcent apps are "full stack apps" that can be created in minutes and shared everywhere on the web. Playcent apps do the same as Gumroad, OnlyFans, Wix, Rarible, and Cameo but don't require users to leave social media for interaction/transaction.
Marc Andreessen once said, “Software is eating the world,” referring to the software-driven innovation revolution and the need for every company to become a software company. Now it is more relevant. Today, software development is highly specialized and its accessibility is limited to a small handful of people with a classical education.
As new digital platforms emerge and millions of users go online for the first time, the need for content and software will only grow.
If we continue to approach software development using current patterns, we will not be able to meet this new demand.
If opportunities for software development remain so prohibitively expensive, software development will continue the trend towards centralization. A few large multinationals will over-control and shape interconnected experiences for newly connected populations.

Market and Technology Opportunities

Playcent aims to democratize software development by making it easy for non-techies to create interactive apps, games, and other user-generated content in minutes.
In 2020, there will be 3.5 billion smartphone users worldwide. Over 50% of time is spent on social media and messaging apps. In these social networks, users use all types of content such as text, images, videos, GIFs and links. Each of the social networks implements a webview (browser natively built to support links) to support links. Playcent uses webviews. Cents are web addresses that work everywhere, including all social media websites.
Some of the gaming apps or cents already copy the functionality of native apps like Buy Me Coffee, shopify or cameo.
Market
At the beginning, we are focusing on hyper-casual games and mini-apps. Hyper-casual games are easy to play and already have a market share of over $2 billion out of the $65 billion in mobile games.
Hypercasual games provide real, quantifiable value to brands, companies, and influencers as they engage their users. These groups are currently commissioning hyper-casual games as marketing tools at $15K-$150K per game, with a development time of 4-12 months. By reducing development costs and time, Playcent gains market penetration and early revenue.
Dressing up as a hyper-casual game is often all it takes to turn a boring game into a viral hit.
Over the next few months, we will move from games to interactive apps, and in the next few years, we envision 15 year olds remixing cents and making popular games and apps.
Technical architecture
Playcent is in beta testing and has over 20 templates. Templates are basic web applications that give power. A developer can create game templates for any type of web application, including interactive games, memes, and apps.
When creating a template, a developer can determine which values are customizable and use Playcent platform technology to make it easy for non-technical users to change them.
Once a template is published on Playcent, creators can easily find and rework it by adding their own images, text, sounds, and more to create their own version that they can share anywhere on the web.
What is a remix?
Remixing allows creators to create their own apps by customizing existing game apps and publishing their own versions.
Developers can port existing applications to Playcent by integrating the playcent visual control library.
-The Playcent editor in which the user creates applications,
-Playcent CDN that publishes, hosts and distributes all apps
-Playcent Rewards Engine that rewards users for their activity.
-NFT Marketplace, mint and trade NFTs
-Cent Marketplace, for sharing game apps
-Playcent Pay & Wallet, Used for payments and storage of tokens and NFTs
-Esports SDK: for converting games into esports games.
-Visual Controls Library: For importing and converting applications into game templates.
Playcent Editor is used to create interactive games and games. The editor is available in 2 modes,
-visual mode
-View code
Visual mode provides the visual interfaces you need to customize game applications and games. This is mainly for non-technical users.
Code View provides a collaborative browser-based IDE. (IDE), which contains all the project code.
Playcent CDN is a geographically distributed structure that takes care of the deployment, hosting and distribution of gaming applications and games.
Playcent is built on Ethereum and runs on the Matic blockchain. We originally chose Ethereum back in 2019 due to the large number of developers working on the platform and the ability to quickly create an MVP. Over time, it became clear that the creation of the UGC blockchain platform exclusively on Ethereum was impossible in terms of scalability.
We chose Matic Network as our scaling solution due to the high performance and security of our infrastructure.
Among the data generated by the Playcent ecosystem, any items related to transactions are recorded on the Matic blockchain in the form of Tx.
All data entered is disclosed transparently due to the nature of the blockchain. Gamers, consumers, and developers participating in the Playcent ecosystem can view this data and use it to make decisions, etc. The data stored on the blockchain is not large, such as images, videos, or long text. These elements are stored in the corresponding database. The data stored on the blockchain is data related to key activities.
The wallet and authentication is powered by tor.us and biconomy, the wallet is used to store tokens and NFT assets. PlaycentPay facilitates microtransactions and other in-app purchases, including tips, from a wallet. Playcent Wallet also handles deposits, gift codes, and payouts/settlements. The use of PlaycentPay cents within social channels may incur fees from users of other networks.
Playcent rewards 16.25% of total supply to creators and players aboard the Playcent ecosystem. Playcent captures every action of the user, the data is sent to the smart contract via the oracle, and the reward is processed into the user's wallet every day.

There are several users that will make up the vibrant Playcent ecosystem:
Developers create templates for game applications. The templates will be converted into custom applications and shared with millions of people around the world. As the template is remixed and its remixes are remixed, the template evolves into new applications. Playcent keeps track of this bloodline, and the developers retain a share of the value of this "evolution pool" over time.
Each template created is part of a bloodline and rewards based on the activity of its descendants, according to the Playcent Evolution reward structure.
Content creators, as primary users and value providers, receive the largest share of revenue.
Content creators can earn tokens by mixing cents. When a cent is drawn, the content creator will be rewarded with tokens based on activity.
A content creator can also earn a larger one-time payment by selling the cent they created on the marketplace.
Users consume created content and earn tokens from the reward pool.
In addition to general interactive activities such as liking, sharing, and commenting, users can also use game tokens for in-app purchases, subscriptions, and tips to developers or creators.

PCNT, Playcent's native token, is the main utility token that lives on both matic and Ethereum chains. It will be used as the base payment currency of the ecosystem, to participate in the system, and as a governance token when the governance module is launched. PCNT holders will be able to claim rewards if they stake their tokens, participate in key governance votes, play games, and through user-generated content initiatives.
PCNT does not in any way represent any shareholding, interest, right, title or interest in the Company, Distributor, their respective affiliates or any other company, enterprise or enterprise, nor does PCNT entitle token holders to any promises of rewards, dividends, income, profits or income from investments and are not intended to be used as securities in Singapore or any other relevant jurisdiction. PCNT may only be used within the Playcent Ecosystem, and ownership of PCNT does not confer any rights, express or implied, other than the right to use PCNT as a means to enable use and interaction within the Playcent Ecosystem.
Applications:
1. Governance, where token holders decide on things like emissions, distribution, upvotes, etc. and control reserve funds.
2. In-app currency for all apps and games developed by Playcent.
3. Subscriptions, transactions in the asset market will be paid in PCNT tokens.
4. Early access to games for token holders and other premium services
5. Paying for ads on Playcent

Reward tokens make up 15% of the total supply of tokens. The purpose of Reward Tokens is to attract a wide range of creators and players to the gaming ecosystem in search of rewards in the form of tokens, as well as to provide ownership and share to the most active members of the community. The distribution of rewards can be thought of as the marketing budget of the gaming ecosystem.
