Pompeu Fabra University

Pompeu Fabra University is an educational institute located in Barcelona, Spain, and specializes in the fields of education, higher education, and university. It was founded on June 18, 1990, by the Generalitat de Catalunya, and was named after the linguist Pompeu Fabra. Also known as Universitat Pompeu Fabra, the institution is affiliated with the European University Association.

The university is headquartered in Barcelona and is a part of the parent organization Xarxa Vives d'Universitats. As of 2021, it employs 1,262 people and is considered an organization as well as a company.
