Catholic pope and saint
Pope Pius X was born on June 2, 1835, in Riese Pio X, and held citizenship in the Kingdom of Italy. He is best known for his occupation as the Pope and is recognized as a Saint by the Catholic Church. Pope Pius X passed away on August 20, 1914, at the Apostolic Palace.
He was also the founder of the Pontifical Biblical Institute.
