Proxy is a digital identity platform that empowers people to authenticate and interact with devices in the physical world using their smartphone.
Proxy developed a mobile connected Bluetooth device intended to offer everyone their own universal identity signal. The company's device is a smartphone-powered universal identity signal that brings access and personalized experiences, provides mobile access throughout commercial buildings and at the workplace, enabling users to get easy and completely secured access.
Proxy's stated mission is to give people a unique identity signal they own and control. The signal, emitted from a smartphone, allows people to securely authenticate to any device or service, similar to a universal single-sign on for the physical world. Large enterprises like WeWork, Dropbox, and Hines use Proxy for their employees, contractors, visitors, and tenants to manage access through secured doors, elevators, and turnstiles.
Proxy's solutions, beside enterprise applications, include commercial real estate to create secure and digital environments for tenants and visitors; for small business, for keyless access to a workplace using a smartphone; and multi-family residential applications, where residents and visitors can have a secured environment using Proxy.
Besides mobile software, Proxy develops hardware for their identity authentication and security applications, including their Mobile Reader Pro which allows electronic controls for security points, works with the mobile application of Proxy and can be integrated with existing security cards, fobs and badges.
Proxy's Mobile Reader Edge, is a smaller version of their Mobile Reader Pro, designed to be set up at the edge of a door with a lower power requirement than the Mobile Reader Pro to make wiring to harder-to-reach areas easier.
And Proxy develops their Mobile Reader Nano which is intended to be installed in existing access locations, such as turnstiles, elevator panels, vending machines and copiers or printers. This allows companies to retain existing readers and controllers while using Proxy's system.
All of Proxy's access solutions offer multiple options for how people interact with them, either requiring a phone "tap-in" where users can wave their phone nearby the reader. A watch "tap-in" where users can wave their connected watch or push a notification on the watch's screen to sign in. A "hands-free" application where users can walk and the door will unlock with proximity. And Biometric sign in, where the panel will require FaceID or TouchID sign-in for extra security.
Proxy's Identity Signal software is available on iOS and Android and allows users to create their digital identity signal. The Identity Signal allows users to enter Proxy-enabled spaces when they are connected and given access.
The Mobile Access Manager allows Proxy users to enable or disable access and access levels through the Proxy readers. Through the software, users can see access points, manage who can use them, and schedule times when doors and windows enabled with Proxy can be used. The Mobile Access Manager also allows users to create guest and visitor access and can give visitors a virtual ID card.
And Proxy's Mobile Access Connector allows users to integrate Proxy's software with existing physical access control systems at any scale to allow an easier integration of Proxy's identity management system.
