Pyotr Klimuk

Pyotr Klimuk is a Belarusian politician, writer, aircraft pilot, and astronaut born on July 10, 1942 . He holds dual citizenship in the Soviet Union and Russia . Klimuk is the child of Marfa Pavlovna and Ilya Fedorovich . He received his education at the Gagarin Air Force Academy .

Throughout his career, Klimuk has received numerous awards such as Pilot-Cosmonaut of the USSR , Hero of the Soviet Union , Order of Lenin , and Yuri Gagarin Gold Medal . He has also earned the Order of Merit for the Fatherland, 4th class and 3rd class , the Order "For Service to the Homeland in the Armed Forces of the USSR" , and the Medal "For Merit in Space Exploration" .

Additionally, Klimuk has been awarded the Order of Friendship of Peoples , the Lenin Komsomol Prize , the Order of Parasat , the Legion of Honour , the Medal Brotherhood in Arms , and the USSR State Prize .
