Quincy Crew was formed in August 2018 by former members of VGJ.Storm, following The International 2018. Four out of five members of the team, as well as manager KBBQ and coach Aui_2000 stuck together for the new DPC season. Only, UNiVeRsE was a new player to the squad, replacing Sneyking. A few weeks later, the team was picked up by brand new North American organization Forward Gaming.
Following TI 2019, three out of five members of the Newbee roster stuck together to reform Quincy Crew. Former captain SVG was also brought out of retirement and the roster is rounded out by Brazilian offlaner Lelis. In November that year, Chaos Esports Club picked up the team. However, this partnership would be relatively short, as the team departed the organization again in March 2020. Since then, they have foregone joining any esports organizations, choosing to remain independent.
QC was able to secure a spot at The International 2021, coming in fourth in the 2021 DPC season. Sadly, a weak start in the group stage from which the team was unable to recover, led to a disappointingly early exit from TI 2021. For the following season, the team was reformed around their positions one and two, Quinn and YawaR, who are joined by their TI coach KheZu, who will take over captaining duties. Finally, the squad is rounded out by MiLAN and ponlo, as positions four and five, respectively.
