Race Point Capital Group

Race Point Capital Group is an angel investing group (and separate, but affiliated, investment fund) that introduces entrepreneurs to potential investors through business plan presentations at monthly meetings. Race Point Capital consists of individual angel investor members interested in achieving returns by financing privately held companies at an early stage of development. Primary sector focuses are software and information technology, web and e-commerce, media and social media, mobile and wireless, networking and telecommunications, clean-technology, renewable energy and green-technology.

In December 2010, Race Point Capital Group merged with Launchpad Venture Group. At the time of the merger, the new entity said they would use Launchpad for their working name but were considering a new name.
