Ramzan Ahmatovich Kadyrov

Ramzan Akhmatovich Kadyrov (Chechen. kadirgеeran Akhmad-Khizhin Ramzan; born October 5, 1976, Centaroy, Chechen-Ingush ASSR) is a Russian statesman, political and military figure. Head of the Chechen Republic since April 5, 2011 (Acting Head of the Chechen Republic from March 25 to October 5, 2016).

Participant of the Second Chechen War (1999-2009) on the side of Russia. Member of the Supreme Council of the United Russia Party. Hero of the Russian Federation (2004). The son of the first president of the Chechen Republic in the Russian Federation — Akhmat Kadyrov.

President of the Chechen Republic from April 5, 2007 to April 5, 2011 (Acting President of the Chechen Republic from February 15 to April 5, 2007). Chairman of the Government of the Chechen Republic from March 4, 2006 to April 10, 2007 (Acting Chairman of the Government of the Chechen Republic from November 18, 2005 to March 4, 2007).
