Ray Manzarek

Ray Manzarek, born Raymond Daniel Manzarek, was born in Chicago on February 12, 1939, and passed away in Rosenheim on May 20, 2013. He held American citizenship and was known for a wide range of occupations, including record producer, pianist, film director, keyboardist, musician, composer, poet, and singer.

Ray Manzarek was educated in the United States and attended several institutions, including University of California, Los Angeles, DePaul University, UCLA School of Theater, Film and Television, and St. Rita of Cascia High School.

Throughout his career, Manzarek experimented with various musical genres such as Jazz, Rock music and Blues rock.
